The best seasons for this trek are spring ( March to May) and autumn (September to November). During these periods the weather is generally clear and stable offering the best trekking conditions with stunning mountain and landscapes views. The temperature are moderate and the trails are more accessible making it an ideal time to experience the beauty of the langtang valley and gosaikunda with blooming rhododendron in spring and clear views in autumn. These seasons also provide favorable conditions for acclimatization and allowing trekkers to immerse in Nepalese festivals as the festivals like dashain and tihar falls under these seasons.
As for winter and monsoon these seasons comes with weather challenges like heavy snowfall, rainfall making trails slippery and increasing the risk of landslide but it also provide beautiful snow covered quiet landscapes in winter and lush greenery in monsoon.
