Departures date:
The ideal departure season for this trek is spring and autumn i.e March to May or September to November. These two seasons are highly recommended for this trek as it offers a favorable weather with blooming rhododendron lush forests and crisp skies with breathtaking views.
Spring departures: 1st of March to end of may
Autumn departures: 1st of September to end of November.

Food and Accommodation:
The food and Accommodation on this trek is provided by the tea houses and lodges along the trek. The food mainly consists of traditional Nepali dishes as well as little bit of western options.
You can find Tibetan bread, pancakes, cereals, and eggs served with hot beverages for breakfast. As for dinner and lunch the most famous dish is dal bhat which is staple food of Nepal typically served with lentil soup, vegetable, rice and pickles. Despite that you can get more options such as momo, soups, fried rice, noodles etc. while vegetarian foods are widely available, non vegetarian dishes are also served at most of the tea house. The non vegetarian option consist chicken, yak meats or goats. As per snacks you can get verity of options like instant noodles, biscuits, energy bars etc but it is recommended to pack your own high energy snacks.
Tea houses are the common form of accommodation in this trek. These tea houses offers basic comfortable accommodations. In these tea houses you can expect shared rooms with basic facilities. Some of the tea houses offers private rooms for an additional fee. Hot showers, WIFI, charging facilities are also available, but you will likely need to pay extra charges.

For this trek spring and autumn are the best time to undertake this trek as the weather is stable, skies are clear and temperature are manageable. It is recommended to avoid the monsoon season due to heavy rainfall, risk of landslides and winter can be harsh and extremely cold making trek more complicated.
As the trek is moderate to difficult, starting early each day to avoid trekking in the dark, especially in the higher altitudes is profitable. The weather and trekking conditions can change quickly in the Himalayas so, adaptability is the key. Staying flexible with schedule is the most as adjustments of stops may be needed depending on the weather.
