Description

Being the highest trekking mountain in Nepal, Mera peak is a great substitute for the more crowded Himalayan summits. With so many spine-tingling experiences, Mera Peak Climbing is arguably the most fulfilling, thrilling, and exquisite adventure. As they approach this majestic peak, many adventure seekers experience a surge of pure adrenaline.

The mountain is located in the Solukhumbu district’s Mahalangur region of the Everest range. Mera South (6065 m), Mera Central (6461 m), and Mera North (6467 m) are the three main individual summits of the mountain.

Mera Peak isn’t the hardest peak, but it’s also not the easiest. The sweeping vista of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Chamlang, and Mt. Everest appears stunning from the summit.

You can access the deep jungle of Makalu Barun National Park by following the Mera Peak route. Additionally, these forests are home to a wide variety of wildlife, including red pandas, black bears, golden jackals, Indian leopards, and red foxes.

The Sherpa people are the primary inhabitants of the Khumbu region. Spend some time learning about the customs and traditions of this people, who are influenced by Tibetan culture.

With a gradual ascent and a separate day dedicated to Khare, our Mera Peak Itinerary is thoughtfully planned to give ample time for acclimatization. For those with a reasonable level of mountaineering experience, climbing Mera Peak is a great choice. The peak’s elevation makes it a difficult trekking destination, but the technical mountaineering skills requirement is very basic. Besides, Trek Rai King Nepal’s seasoned Sherpa guide will provide us with a basic mountaineering training before the actual summit.
