Teahouse accommodations in Nepal are affordable and intended for travelers. The majority of the lodgings are modest. They usually have a single window, plastered or wood-paneled walls, and low-rise beds with foam mattress covers. While most teahouses have a central burner that is lit at night, others have heaters in each room. Some hotels even provide hot showers. Although it may be on a charge, most places offer electrical charging. Since it may be difficult to book a single room during the busiest season, we recommend double accommodations in our suggested timetable.
Best time to visit the Everest Base Camp:
The ideal periods to trek to Everest Base Camp are in the spring and fall. Trekking is also possible during the summer and winter months, although these periods are difficult owing to harsh weather. The spring season runs from March to May and is marked by a mix of warm and temperate weather, as well as spectacular mountainous scenery. Autumn also brings lovely weather and breathtaking mountain views. In Nepal, autumn lasts from September to November. On the other hand, winter can be quite frigid with snow-covered slopes, yet the views of the mountains are breathtaking. Nepal’s winter months are December through February.
