Useful information of this trek:

This moderate trek requires good physical fitness. Packing appropriately is crucial and always carry water purification tablets and high energy snacks to stay hydrated and energized.  Allow time for acclimatization to avoid altitude sickness. Mobile connectivity is limited so download offline maps and carry a power bank. Proper preparation and a mindful  approach will make your trek truly unforgettable.

Food and Accomodation:

On this trek food and accommodation offer a mix of cultural authenticity and simplicity, reflecting the remoteness of this unique trekking route. Meals are prepared using fresh locally sourced ingredients ensuring  the taste of region’s tradition.

This trek offers simple yet authentic culinary experience. common food on this trail is Dal bhat – a staple nepali i.e rice, lentil soup and seasonal vegetable served with pickles.  Handmade flat breads served with curry, Gundruk (Fermented and dried leafy greens) kinema(kirati dish made from fermented soyabeans often cooked as curry), potato based dishes , noodles and soups, sel roti and hot beverages like butter tea, black teas etc  are the other options you can find in this trek.  Drinks made locally from millets are also generally  found in this trek. You can get both vegetarian and non- vegetarian options widely.

Accommodation relays on the hotels and lodges in lower altitude but as you ascend into higher altitude you are accommodated by tea houses and homestays along the trail. Rooms are simple with twin beds and washrooms are often shared. Though accommodation are basic, it is comfortable and enriched by local hospitality. Tent camping is also an exciting option for accommodation. camping is also done  in this trek, allowing adventurers to stay amidst nature.
