Food and Accommodation:
In this trek you will have sufficient amount of healthy and delicious Nepali cuisine. This trek relies on tea house accommodation and food. It is highly recommended to stay hydrated and eat healthy food as possible. In this trek you will experience the Himalayan hospitality and meals.
For breakfast most people rely on porridge, eggs, bread, seasonal fruits and hot beverages.
As for lunch and dinner mostly Nepal’s staple meal dal vat is served with vegetables and pickle. Additionally, you can find other dishes such as momo, Fried rice, soups etc. Individual can make a choice as per their interest.
As for snacks you can find different options.
It is recommended to drink hot water and vegetarian items. Most of the items are expensive due to high altitude and transportation cost.
In this trek accommodation are generally a tea house. You have to use a common washroom which are generally outside. Electricity is available in most of the tee houses. Tea houses can be a great place for relaxation and making new friends as it is the common place where people gather during the trek.
Best time and information of this trek:
For this trek autumn and spring are the preferable seasons as spring offers stable weather, blooming rhododendron and excellent views and autumns offers crisp views and ideal weather. Mostly winter and rainy seasons are not recommended for this trek as they comes with heavy challenges like heavy monsoon rains, cold and snow.
This trek lasts for 16 days it highly depends on individual strength. Trek starts from Kathmandu and ends at Kathmandu Nepal. This trek is one of the toughest and challenging high altitude trek. The varying weather can make it more difficult for beginner trekkers so it is highly recommended to have a great preparation before this trek.
