This demanding yet achievable trek usually spans to 12 days. The journey starts with a picturesque flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Then, the journey starts through beautiful Sherpa villages, dense woodlands, lush forests and over suspension bridges with breathtaking views of landscapes and towering peaks such as Mount everest, Ama Dablam, Lothse.
Further, the trail follows well maintained paths, with numerous tea houses where trekkers can relax and enjoy authentic Nepali cusine. This trail leads you through vibrant hubs like Namche Bazar and other villages like Dingboche, Tengboche each offering a blend of rich culture and breathtaking views. You will come across Buddhist monuments, Stupas and beautifully craved mani walls, which reflect the deep tibetian influence in the region. Food and accommodation:
Accommodation along the trek is typically provided by the tea houses offering a warm and welcoming environment. The rooms are generally equipped with twin beds and you may need to share bathrooms with other trekkers. Some tea houses provide private rooms but it may cost additional charges. As you ascend to higher altitudes, the facilities become more basic, but you will always have a place to sleep. It is highly recommended to carry a sleeping bags for extra comfort. These teahouses provide limited electricity and WiFi specially in higher altitudes. Charging devices can cost you additional charge.
The food served on the trek is primarily Nepali and Tibetan cuisine, with common dishes including dal bhat ( lentil soup with rice and vegetables), momo, noodles, soups, pasta and fried rice. Many tea houses also offer western styles meals like pizza, sandwiches, pancakes particularly at the lower altitudes. Meals are generally hearty and designed to provide energy for the trekking. Hot beverages like tea and coffee are commonly available at the teahouses, as well as the snacks like chocolate bars, biscuits and energy bars. While food prices rise as you ascend to higher altitudes.

Best season and information of this trek:
The best seasons to trek to Everest Base camp are spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November) as these seasons offers clear, stable weather and a spectacular view of the mountains and the surrounding landscapes. As per winter can be cold with heavy rainfall and monsoon brings frequent rains, landslides making trails slippery, so it cannot be an idea season for this trek.
